DCR INSTITUTE — 2026

DCR INSTITUTE

The global standard for data clean room professionals.

Clean rooms are production infrastructure now. The Clean Room Professional (CRP™) certification ensures the humans operating them meet the same bar as the platforms themselves.

CRP™ Clean Room Professional — issued by the DCR Institute Global Standards Board.

Who this is for

Built for practitioners, not theorists.

  • Data & analytics engineers working with AMC, ADH, or Snowflake clean rooms and needing a formal credential.
  • Media & ad tech professionals building measurement frameworks, incrementality tests, or activation pipelines.
  • Privacy & compliance teams responsible for GDPR/CCPA posture across collaborative data environments.

CRP™ curriculum — four pillars

Every domain tested. Partial knowledge doesn’t earn the credential.

Privacy engineering

  • Salted SHA-256 hashing
  • K-anonymity & aggregation masks
  • Zero-copy logic execution

Measurement science

  • Incrementality modeling & lift
  • Test vs control holdout design
  • iROAS & TACOS methodology

Interoperability

  • Cross-cloud execution (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • AMC & ADH query translation
  • Federated learning fundamentals

Governance & ethics

  • GDPR & CCPA compliance
  • Permissioning architecture
  • Audit trail management

Sample lab assessments

CRP™ candidates are tested on production-grade scenarios, not multiple choice.

Lab 01 — Privacy threshold governance. A retail partner needs conversions by ZIP code. The query returns a bucket-size error. Fix it using aggregation masks to enforce k-anonymity.

Lab 02 — Incrementality & lift validation. An advertiser reports 10x ROAS. Isolate the organic baseline from the control holdout to prove true incrementality.
